At STEMfirst, we are passionate about ensuring that we leave a positive impact on the planet around us. After all, there is no planet B!

Our first steps:
One currently important issue in the STEM field is environmental impact and sustainability.
We have made plans with the gardening club of the school to create an insect friendly - environmental garden.

We have put together the money to buy trees from the Woodland Trust to set up a Bee-Friendly/Pollinator area in an area of our school. This includes purchasing 15 trees which will grow flowers that increase the food supplies for local bees and other pollinating insects.
We will be carrying out this work later this year.

For our ambassador programme, we are aspiring to campaign against climate change and we are offering our ambassadors opportunities to fundraise for climate charities and help create a lasting difference in our planet.
